Our Verein zur Förderung der Kunststofftechnologie e. V.

The Association for the Promotion of Plastics Technology (Verein zur Förderung der Kunststofftechnologie e. V.) was founded in 1993 with the aim of supporting application-oriented research and development in the field of plastics technology through intensive cooperation between Kunststofftechnik Paderborn (KTP) and industry, as well as promoting projects that are not funded by public research institutions such as DFG, AiF, EU or BMBF.

The integration of practice-oriented results into the research work of the KTP and rapid technology transfer are intended to give medium-sized companies in particular the opportunity to participate in the latest developments. Accordingly, the non-profit association strives to attract members from different areas of plastics processing. Currently, about 30 companies from Germany and abroad belong to the sponsoring association. Since 01.07.2019, the business operation has been transferred to Kunststofftechnik Paderborn gGmbH.

Become a member of our association. In addition to the idealistic support of our work, you will have the following advantages as a member of the sponsoring association:

  • Discounts on orders placed with the laboratories of Kunststofftechnik Paderborn gGmbH
  • Influence on the research activities of Kunststofftechnik Paderborn at the regular members' meetings
  • Automatic sending of dissertations, which are written at Kunststofftechnik Paderborn
  • Online access for our member area with information about the student theses, bachelor theses and master theses written at Kunststofftechnik Paderborn
  • Joint development work through free supervision of study, bachelor and master theses on company-specific problem solutions
  • Tax deductibility of the membership fee due to the non-profit character of the association
