Our Team

The Association for the Promotion of Plastics Technology (Verein zur Förderung der Kunststofftechnologie e. V.) was founded in 1993 with the aim of supporting application-oriented research and development in the field of plastics technology through intensive cooperation between Kunststofftechnik Paderborn (KTP) and industry, as well as promoting projects that are not funded by public research institutions such as DFG, AiF, EU or BMBF.

Die Integration praxisorientierter Ergebnisse in die Forschungsarbeit des KTP sollen gerade mittelständischen Unternehmen die Möglichkeit geben, an den neuesten Entwicklungen teilzuhaben. Dementsprechend ist der gemeinnützige Verein bestrebt, Mitglieder aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen der Kunststoffverarbeitung für sich zu gewinnen. Derzeit gehören dem Förderverein ca. 30 Unternehmen aus dem In- und Ausland an. Seit dem 01.07.2019 wurde der Geschäftsbetrieb in die Kunststofftechnik Paderborn gGmbH übertragen.
